Wolvo Street Ride

Got a unexpected phone call of an old friend Rich brake on sunday and ended up riding some bmx for a change which was really good got to ride a wolvo properly for the first time and got to ride with some old friends for the first time in a long time which was good. All in all it was a really good days riding and hanging out with old friends.

Experimental

Met experimental photographer extraordinaire Christophe Dillinger today at uni and he gave us a talk on experimental photography which was interesting because i love experimenting with photography.

He showed us various cameras which he plays around with and lots of diffrent techniques then we got to try them out and I decided to give polaroid transfers ago so I went back to mine and got my hassy and its polo back and whilst i was there i grabed my polaroid land camera for fun.



After many failed attemps at polaroid transfers with my polo back i decided to try something diffrent and proceded to tear apart a regular 600 polaroid from my land camera to see if i could get a better result with transfers.


The result was a tiny bit better but i also found out something more interesting and that was i had created a polaroid transparancy on the accitate when i pealed it off and it had a very interesting style and affect to it.


Aswell as this on the backing paper it also give the images a interesting affect. There still in early stage's but i hope to fine tune the methord and times of development to get the best possible affect and exposure i can.

Work work Work

Lots of work going on now uni is in full swing got a few projects I'm going to be shooting some stuff for in the next couple weeks including landscapes, urban landscapes and experimental photography and processing which I'm most looking forward to.

Also got a couple personal projects in the pipeline one of which is a collaboration with my good friend Chris over at: http://chriscove.blogspot.com/ He's just done a cool photo shoot called breakdown at Tiffany's and has some info about his photo dress and other projects.
